● Proofs of Quality
Certified Quality for Demanding Processes

When valves are used under special conditions, more than just functionality matters. Hygiene, explosion protection, emission safety, extreme temperatures, or special media place high demands on materials, design, and manufacturing.
GEFA valves are therefore tested and certified for numerous demanding applications and are available in various designs in accordance with recognized standards, guidelines, and requirements.
17 proofs. A commitment to quality.
From hygienic applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries to potentially explosive atmospheres, hydrogen, oxygen, or cryogenic media: Different processes require different proofs. That is why we develop our valves not for a single application, but to meet the requirements of a wide variety of industries.
Safety and Industry Certifications
In safety-critical industrial processes, valves must meet the highest standards of reliability and operational safety. Whether it’s explosion protection, fire safety, emission tightness, or functional safety, GEFA offers valves specifically designed for various applications, complete with the appropriate certifications and proofs of conformity. This ensures that technical specifications and industry-specific requirements are met precisely.
Food and Material Compliance
In the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, particularly stringent requirements apply to the materials used and their compatibility with process media. GEFA offers valves with the appropriate material compliance certifications and suitability certificates, for example, for food contact as well as for applications that require the exclusion of bisphenol A or components of animal origin.
Media and Temperature Suitability
Extremely low temperatures, hydrogen, or specialized gas applications require valves whose design, materials, and sealing systems are tailored to these conditions. For such applications, GEFA offers specially designed valves and corresponding certificates of suitability.
Not every application requires every type of certificate. But every application requires the right valve.
The requirements for a valve are determined by the process: the medium, temperature, pressure, environment, materials, and applicable regulations dictate which design and which certifications are required.
That is why not every GEFA valve has all of the certifications or features listed here. Instead, we offer targeted solutions for different requirements within our product line. The result is not a valve with as many certifications as possible, but the right valve for your process.
Quality doesn't start with the product
Verified product quality requires reliable processes. That is why we consider quality not only in the finished faucet, but throughout our entire business and production processes. We combine product quality with structured processes, responsible environmental management, and safe working conditions.
